An Update from South Suburban Parks and Recreation: Walnut Hills Ballfield Replacement
The ballfield at Walnut Hills Elementary School/Park will replaced in June and July, while school is out for the summer. To avoid existing drainage issues, the ballfield will be relocated to the northwest, adjacent to the amphitheater. The project includes a new backstop, players benches, bleachers, infield mix, and an accessible route from Uinta St. to the ballfield. The work is expected to be completed by August 2021, but please keep an eye out for updates as the project progresses. This project is jointly funded by South Suburban and the City of Centennial.
