The following is information regarding the proposed I-25 and Arapahoe Rd Interchange.

With the recent decision not to pursue the Costilla Underpass proposal, the only two options now under consideration are the "Partial Improved Cloverleaf" and "No Action" alternatives. The Partial Improved Cloverleaf option now includes modifications to intersection of Arapahoe Road and Yosemite St. The most recent version of the plan calls for making the current Arapahoe to Yosemite right turn lane into a through or right turn, It also widens Yosemtie street in order to accomodate an additional left turn lane onto west bound Arapahoe.

The most current plan no longer calls for the permanent aquisition of residential right-of-way but may require temporary construction right-of-way from the back-yards of eight Walnut Hills homes, five of which back onto Arapahoe and three more that back onto Yosemite.

Public meeting number two of three was conducted on Thursday, September 8th from 4:00 PM - 7:30 PM at the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church just west of Yosemite on Dry Creek.
