Beth Rapp
Position: Neighborhood #1 Rep

I have just recently volunteered to be the representative for neighborhood #1 on the Walnut Hills Civic Association Board of Directors. I am excited to get more involved with the neighborhood and feel like I now have the time to commit to this endeavor.

Family: My daughters, Caroline and Emma, and I have lived in our house since December of 1993. We moved here from out of state and this neighborhood has become the only home my girls remember. I come from a family of eight, and it has been a challenge living so far away from the many grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins represented in our family. Walnut Hills has fi lled that void for us somewhat.

Present occupation: I am an educator and am currently in my twenty-fourth year in the profession. I have taught at Cimarron Elementary in the Cherry Creek School District for the past thirteen years. My Master’s Degree will be completed by this July. My girls both attended Walnut Hills Elementary and had many wonderful experiences at our community school.

Hopes for WH: I want to thank all of the Walnut Hills community for the support that has been given to my family over the years. The message that has been sent to us is one of kindness, friendship, and genuine support. It is my hope that I can now give something in return to all of my Walnut Hill’s neighbors. Please call on me as your representative.
